Last month the doctors took some blood to do test for down syndrome and some other defects. At this months doctor visit she said everything was normal, so no need to worry!
I also only gained 1 lb and she said at my stage i should be looking at 2-3 lbs at each check up from now, no more then 5 lbs each month. She said now that the skin is thinker and no longer transparent, the baby can now start to store it's own fat to protect itself. So the baby should be gaining in ounces from now on. Plus the fluid around the baby is going to almost double in size starting now so my water weight will grow. Also my body is producing extra blood (that's where the pregnancy glow comes from all the extra blood in my body) so that will add some weight. The list went of for a few seconds and i started to think ok 5 lbs each month isn't really me it's all the extra stuff that goes on, I think I can do that. Only thing is my little girl will not let me eat candy (I'm not complaining i never really liked candy) or drink any soda- i get two sips down and I'm sick i think it's the mixture of sugar and caffeine. All my little girl wants is salads and fruits, veggies and whole grain toasts, so i hope i can gain the weight that is required.
So here is a picture of my baby bump- I had to redraw it do to my miss-measuring from now on it will be doctors measuring way.
I took picture on my belly it doesn't look bigger to me but it has grown since last month. Maybe it's because i see it everyday.
My mom and i stopped by Ross yesterday and i saw the cuttest baby stuff. I didn't even spend 20 dollars and i got two light blankets of course its purple!
I found this 3 peace set that grows with your baby 0-6 months. It's something that if our next baby is a boy it will work with him. All i need for my little girl is a cute little yellow or while bow!
I had to get that 3 peace set cause of the bib....just look it's so cute! it's says "I'm a cute little duck!"
Then i walked pass the 18 month clothes and saw this dress...I mean come on it was only $6.99 and just the cutest little dress ever.
I also got fabric to start my little baby Kayla's baby blanket. That's something my mom did for all my sibling i think we all still have ours i know i do. So i wanted to keep that tradition going. I'd show you the fabric but i want you all to see it all together. so keep looking for it- it's my first blanket so it may take a while to post. all can say is yes it's purple!!!!
I still can't believe i'm 1/2 way through this...only 5 more months till Kayla is here! i'm so EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hannah...so excited for you! I love the name Kayla too. So sweet. the stuff you bought from Ross is cute. You look so great! keep up the good work...i know it's not easy. I can't wait to see the baby blanket you make. Take care!
