this week has been a tough for me. It started off fine excited that this week we'd find out the gender of our baby.
Who was now the size of a small cantaloupe
my belly was growing even more now!
The fruit cravings still strong I can't seem to get enough fruit down it's so good!
Kayla would steal my fruit from time to time, but if i was going to share my only craving with ne one she's the one!
Then I got a head cold. My head felt heavy like a bowling ball i started some doterra oils in the air so i could breath
Egg salad sandwiches sounded good!
Soon my throat hurt so bad to swallow i could only eat tomato soup
I even had a sick station so i could watch over Kayla and still get better. I had the doterra oils going, toilet paper for my nose, vics to breath in, cough drops to sooth, chap stick cuz i had to breath through my mouth making my lips very dry. Hand sanitizer cuz i didn't want to get ne one else sick mostly Kayla. And a never ending supply of ice water. I also had a bag for my nose tissue
Even though i was sick Kayla wasn't so I'd take her to taco bell for her favorite cheesy nachos
Before my cold hit it's strongest we went to the dr for our ultrasound. Kayla was extremely cute so worried about mommy, she didn't want to leave my side. All she could see is mommy laying on a bed and a doctor checking on her belly. She kept asking me if i was ok and rubbing my belly . She didn't get that the computer screen showed her inside mommies belly and the baby. She just wanted mommy to be ok.
The baby was facing my back so their spine was facing up, making it extremely hard to see ne think.
Here is the babies heart and heartbeat good and strong.
Looking through the back of the skull here is the face, looks like a creepy alien but what baby doesn't at this point.
This is the best side profile he could find.
Now was the time to find out the sex and i was so excited.

His back is on the top with his legs dangling down and look there is something else dangling...
Here is Kayla in her blue shirt and big smile holding a copy of the ultrasound.
Kayla was going to have the little brother she wanted. Mommy and daddy couldn't be happier everything looked good our boy was healthy and strong.
at the end of the week mommies cold hit hard and she could hardly breath or swallow. The excitement of finding out it was a boy was going to have to wait mommy was to sick!
